The Fulton laser tag has been postponed until 28 Jan due to low participation.  The 28th will now be a joint Fulton/Carriel lock-in.

There will be a meeting for the parents who have children attending the Washington DC trip in May THIS THURSDAY, January 13, at 7pm.  The meeting will be held at Carriel Jr. High.  This meeting is not mandatory; however, the activity chairs will be reviewing the last few opportunities for earning money to offset the cost of the trip.  In addition, the trip treasurer will provide an update on student balances and expectations for the final tallies.  Please don’t miss this opportunity to ask any questions you have or access the DC website for additional information.

On Saturday, February 5^th, we will be holding a Trivia Night/Silent Auction to help raise funds for the trip to Washington D.C. in May 2011.   To help make this event a success, we’re asking each of the Advisory teachers to assemble a “themed” basket with donations from parents that we can auction off at the event.  Members of the trivia committee are soliciting donations from local businesses to add to the baskets as well, but we need your help!

If you have an item to donate that you are uncomfortable sending to school with your child, please contact me and we can make other arrangements for pickup.  We can also use any baskets, decorative buckets or boxes you care to donate. 

If you are a business owner and would like to make a special donation separate from the themed basket, we can provide a tax ID # so you can claim your donation.  Any contribution would be gratefully accepted.

• This dance is for Fulton students only. Students from other schools cannot attend.
• Signed permission slip and I.D. must be presented to purchase ticket in advance or at the door.
• Student ID required for entry and must be worn at all times at the Dance.
• Policies allow that children can leave the dance. This is not a lock-in. If student leaves the dance early, he/she will not be allowed to return.
• Students are subject to the Student Code of Conduct, including the Dress Code (p.30), as explained in Fulton Student/Parent Handbook; refusal to abide may result in removal from the dance.
• Students must be picked up promptly at 9pm; if left after 9pm, they will be transported to O’Fallon Police Dept and barred from the next school event.
